If with their previous album “Strigae”, INCANTVM shaped their Black Metal with Classical Music and parts narrated in a very theatrical way, with “Maleficia” the music becomes the absolute protagonist thanks to atmospheres full of pathos and terrifying perceptions, esoteric ritual sounds, dark sceneries, Doom elements and old school extreme Metal, everything their Avantgarde Black Metal feeds on, making of this an absolutely unique creature in the international musical scene.

“Maleficia” is the darkest and most eclectic manifestation of the creative genius of Vittorio Sabelli and those who walked this way with him into the darkest folds of extreme music, starting from Tenebra (DREARINESS) on voice, to continue with Samael Von Martin and Nequam with their vocal interpretations, Lorenzo Mastrogiuseppe, Luca Tiraterra, and Marco Molino with their rhythmic elements.

It is a pure and simple piece of Art, an incredibly unique and exclusive album for very open-minded people, a journey that sets no stylistic or temporal limits and that reaches straight into the sick soul of those who can perceive it.
